Bindella Restaurant’s sophisticated vineyard theme

An Italian restaurant in Israel uses a gorgeous vineyard motif to reflect its heritage.

The Bindella Restaurant in Tel Aviv, part of the Bindella Group which owns a vineyard in Tuscany, has a subtle rustic theme which is informal and sophisticated.

The ceiling treatment, inspired by a vineyard pergola, is just part of the wood-focused design, which creates a lovely natural feel with complementary furniture.

The neutral, natural shades are enhanced by the ceiling lighting, which adds darker accents of colour and breaks up the very precise lines of the overall design.

This beautiful holistic vision is completed by the metal screens – painted black, they subtly carry a grape motif while being talking points in their own right.

Bindella’s stunning design is a collaboration between Pitsou Kedem Architects and Baranowitz-Amit Design Studio.

The designers said: “Both the design and culinary concept create something adventurous and new, yet it was important to us to keep it accessible and unintimidating. We are redefining what a city’s local Italian should be – lighter dishes, contemporary design, and an upscale environment without the pretension.”
