Muraspec Wallcoverings At Hotel Jerbourg, Guernsey

Hotel Jerbourg is considered one of Guernsey’s most popular hotels in the Channel Islands, and they tasked our Account Coordinator, Carol Graham, to fulfil their visual and functional requirements for their wallcoverings.

Millington Associates, a dynamic team of interior designers, project managers and design makers, are renowned for their work with awe-inspiring brands – from inspiration to installation. Their objective has always been to break the boundaries of possibility and create the most innovative spaces.

MURASPEC MURAFLEX SELF-ADHESIVE DECORATIVE FILM FOR SEA NEW YORK AT HARRODS

Sea New York (SNY), a luxurious clothing brand, recently enlisted the help of Millington Associates in designing the display for their installation at Harrods – the renowned luxury department store, located in London’s shopping district. The brief for this project was to develop a display that fit seamlessly with the “coastal vibes” of SNY and created a theme that was reminiscent of this brand image.

As Oliver Redfern states, “the brief was to design an indulgent hedonistic function venue [that was] reminiscent of the great cabarets of 1920s Berlin, all within the basement of Hotel Gotham in Manchester.” The Cabaret era was known for its striking colours, unimaginable decadence and personal freedom, and GILT has been designed to be very much resonant of that extravagant era.

Muraspec Wallcoverings At GILT, the Hotel Gotham Speakeasy

Hotel Gotham, located at the heart of Manchester’s most upmarket shopping district, recently enlisted the help of Oliver Redfern, of The Squid Inc to design the five-star hotel’s GILT Club venue, located in an underground hidden bank vault, two floors beneath the hotel. The brief for this project was to develop a luxurious speakeasy club and functions venue that was very much reminiscent of the great cabarets of 1920’s Berlin.

The main design challenge that UAD Studio faced was in sourcing solutions that met the functional requirements of this exclusive clubhouse. One major concern was to find wallcoverings that were both aesthetically-pleasing and accurately reflected the performance, durability and safety requirements of a large commercial setting.

Muraspec Wallcoverings At Rosa Private Golf Club

Rosa Private Golf Club, located in Konopiska Poland, recently started remodelling its clubhouse in partnership with the talented designers at UAD Studio. We are excited to share that our Murasuede commercial vinyl wallcovering has been specified and applied across this exclusive Konopiska clubhouse.

The Adventure Bar Group faced the challenge of sourcing design elements that met the specific requirements of this full-of-personality chain of bars, which has locations across London, Cardiff and Birmingham.

Muraspec Wallcoverings At New Liverpool Cocktail Bar, Tonight Josephine

Tonight Josephine, which recently opened in Liverpool’s lively city centre, is the Adventure Bar Group’s largest cocktail bar to date; and their first foray into the North. In partnership with contractor Stenball Group Ltd, the group has specified and installed our Muraspec Lustre wallcoverings, in striking Green 11409 & Silver 11401 colourway at their ‘instagrammable’ new bar.

The main challenge that STUDIO A Pracownia Projektowa faced was in sourcing design solutions that met project specifications as the centre is, first and foremost, a medical facility. Studio A’s chief concern, pertaining to wallcoverings, was finding a solution that was both able to meet the cleaning and hygienic protocols of a counter caste facility and also have built-in antibacterial properties.

Muraspec Wallcoverings At The Bialystok Genome Center

Medical University of Bialystok, located in Białystok Poland, has now entered the finishing phase of their Center for Prevention and Personalised Medicine and Genome Center. In partnership with the university, STUDIO A Pracownia Projektowa have specified and installed Muraspec Tuscan wallcoverings, with BIOMASTER antimicrobial protection, in this innovative new medical research facility.

How it’s made: Factory tour at Muraspec, Kent.

With this in mind, when our Studio partner Muraspec invited us for a tour of its factory in Kent, we immediately said yes. Founded in the 1850s, Muraspec is a leading international designer and manufacturer of carefully crafted wallcoverings. All of its design and production processes are done in-house. It’s a true UK manufacturer with exemplary skill, passion and dedication applied to all that it does.
