FineFood Kärlek och Mat was redesigned by Note Design Studio, which has taken inspiration from a series of photographs featuring the Californian Mojave desert.

Designer Johannes Carlström said of the inspiration: “It was a conclusion of everything we wanted aesthetically – a clean setting with amazing pastels, the different shades of grey in the rock and just the pure serenity.”

This is translated perfectly into the bistro design, which uses subtle mint, fern, and turquoise tones for a clean finish, with accents of coral and salmon adding heat and rawness to the design.

The textures are soft and sleek, with Guatemalan marble, corrugated wood, and that gorgeous orange gauze curtain balancing the design, while the grey floor tiles are arranged into a herringbone pattern for an interesting edge.

This design is a beautiful departure from the industrial chic aesthetic that is very popular in Stockholm and offers a welcoming atmosphere for visitors.
