International Leader in Wallcoverings

2021 Showroom Event

Share on:

On Thursday 2nd December we opened our doors to host our first showroom event since the pandemic took grip of the nation. With the hospitality & events industry being the first and hardest hit, meetings shifted online, and we each adapted to new ways of serving our customers.

During the lockdown, we designed, manufactured, and launched five new wide width contract wallcovering designs; SLATE, SANTIAGO, TUSCAN, SEGMENT and KNIGHTWOOD. Plus, we successfully collaborated with Ted Baker London to produce three of its new designer collections of wallcoverings in the most challenging times of a generation.

Eager to showcase our latest products, we chose a format which would enable guests to enjoy the immediate ambience with new Ted Baker mural wallcoverings installed for all to see, as well as providing delicious canapés and cocktails, courtesy of Fontana & Design.

Guests arrived enthusiastic to see the latest developments and designs.

Inset: Newly installed Ted Baker London “Tulip Gardens” mural wallcovering from the Mirage collection. Hand sketched by Ted Baker, this Tulip Garden mural encompasses multiple different types of tulips including ‘Ballerina’, ‘Barcelona’ and ‘Queen of the night’, complementing Fontana Art & Design’s Quadra kitchen with its stunning Tuscan stone marble worktop.

Inset: Mixologist, Marius and Home Economist, Jo preparing some tasty nibbles and cocktails as guests began to arrive.

Utopia (also from Ted Baker London’s Mirage Collection) was especially scaled down to fit the matching frames within the showroom, revealing its luxurious horizontal silk texture and blending in harmoniously with other opulent floral patterns on display.

The bold flower and biophilic patterns were a hit amongst many designers who attended.

Our new trifold shade cards we created, combing pattern, texture and colour were well received. They were carefully collated to offer a broader scope of the possibilities for specification projects.

Newly replenished rolls offer designers and specifiers the chance to select the sample size of their choice.  Advantageous for designs with large patterns.

It was wonderful to see everyone engaging with the new designs, networking, and having fun.

The event was a great success.   Thank you for all who attended.

A special thanks to Fontana Art & Design and Siemens for your incredible efforts in pulling this together in such a short amount of time.

We hope to see you all again soon!
