International Leader in Wallcoverings

Ted Baker's 'Antiquity' delivers a vibrant backdrop to boutique hotel

Share on:

Jayhems teamed with Muraspec to achieve creative and vibrant ‘selfie-ready’ backdrops in the most challenging of spaces.

Challenge:

London Court Hotel, based in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, was seeking to elevate its guest experience throughout the entrance and reception areas.

With protuberant ceilings and hanging objects on the walls, precision was essential in order to display the products in their best light and at the same time, overcome any installation challenges.

Solution:

Jayhems visited the Muraspec London Showroom to draw inspiration from a plethora of various textured designs and patterns. The layout of the space and products were discussed to kick-start the design process.

Ted Baker’s ‘Antiquity‘ paired with Muraspec Celeste Green were a carefully considered match, fulfilling the brief of delivering a dramatic, vibrant and sleek feature wall whilst complementing the hotel’s brand.

In order to visualise the desired outcome, large samples were installed within different areas and under different light settings to ensure the concept would work.

Results:

The sophisticated and striking colour pattern of Antiquity with its fibrous textured emboss marries perfectly with Celeste Green.  Both wallcovering designs boast a delicate tactile pearlescent quality which radiates a rich and majestic tone -a perfect backdrop for a hotel selfie, or ‘Hotelfie’ as it’s commonly referred to.
