Today, we open our doors in support of National Manufacturing Day 2022, welcoming the next generation of apprentices.

British manufacturing is symbolic of quality-approved products and trusted services the world over.  Pathing the way with innovative products, and serving its communities through generations of employment security, local manufacturing makes a disproportionately large contribution to environmental sustainability. 

During these uncertain times of increased costs of raw materials, and extensive delays in the supply chain (as well as tackling climate change), businesses look towards established and highly reputable manufacturers with highly skilled teams which are in the position to mitigate those disruptions since they do not need to import finished products, posing less risk in the supply chain without compromising quality.

At Muraspec, we understand the importance of sustainable production for the future generations of our workforce.  We have invested in a fleet of state-of-the-art energy-efficient digital printers which meet the stringent Sustainability Development Goals. As the first wallcovering manufacturer to have its products assessed by BRE Global, we have reduced total carbon emissions by 58%.

Our facility is situated on the outskirts of London in the rural county of Kent. London is one of the top three most visited cities in the world.  Our commercial and bespoke wallcoverings serve some of the most prestigious hospitality interiors across the capital.  Since we supply from stock, we offer the shortest lead times plus, our products travel a shorter distance allowing for flexible delivery of a product by project phase or floor.

As a result of these combined strengths coupled with our manufacturing knowledge and technical expertise, we can continue to build on our relationships with our global distributors supplying superior quality wallcoverings for many applications.

With this year marking our 170^th anniversary of manufacturing heritage, apprentices will be treated to a factory tour in which they can see both traditional and modern methods.
