Industrial Office Design – Dutch Communications Office – Sterk Werk

Built in 1907 as the royal Rotterdam Lloyd shipping companies former headquarter office, this structure has recently went through an interior renovation accommodating the Dutch communications office “Sterk Werk”. The new renovation features an industrial layout which has two main colors with various patterns and texture designs.

Orange and white colors prevail as the most dominant colors creating a warm atmosphere of mental clarity, comfort and a feeling of home. Within this office you will find cubicles and workstations installed within the walls. Subsequently various pathways and corridors can be found in the walls which lead individuals to different offices and meeting rooms. Very unique! Lots of windows attract a lot of light and create an open space concept where employees are able to interact more freely.
