Can you tell me more about the performance levels of your product?
All product information is contained within the download section of this site.
I want to use Muraspec Digital in my home. Is that possible?
Muraspec’s Digital product is a fabric backed vinyl intended for commercial use. It is currently not available for domestic use.
I have taken a photo with my digital camera. Will it be OK to print?
It depends on the size of the wall you wish to decorate and the subject matter. If you’re taking a photo with a digital camera, we would recommend using a camera with no less than 8 megapixels, with the quality setting up to it’s maximum (RAW format if possible). Our proofing service will allow you to see the results prior to production. Please click here for our Graphics Guide.
What resolution should my images be?
For high quality prints, we would recommend your image be 100dpi at final output size. Don’t increase the resolution unnecessarily. Always send us your original artwork and we’ll assess it, free of charge, and advise if it’s of suitable quality.
I’m purchasing an image from an online image library. Is there anything I need to know about licensing?
Always make sure that you purchase a Royalty Free image, as there is no time/size/quantity limit. If you need to use a non Royalty Free image, please check licensing agreement prior to making your purchase
What image size should I choose?
Always select the highest image size/resolution available as it will give the best results.
What happens if my artwork looks pixellated when it’s printed at full size?
We will always print out a section at 100% and if it’s looking pixellated, we will do everything we can to enhance the image quality by using special software. We will do our best to advise you of image suitability prior to purchase.
Can I use in an image from a book or magazine?
We wouldn’t recommend scanning an image from a book/magazine, as the dot pattern used to create these images will not reproduce successfully. All books and magazines come with a copyright of some sort. It’s your responsibility to have the permission to reproduce images from any book/magazine.

Is it possible to have colour match within a print?
If the artwork is supplied in a vector format, we can colour match to what is possible in the CMYK colour spectrum. Colour matching within bitmap images is difficult as colour changes affect the entire image.
Can I get a sample print/proof before committing to the job?
Yes you can. If the job goes to production and is over 10m2, the proof is supplied free of charge. If the job is under 10m2 or doesn’t go ahead, a proof charge of £80 applies.
How do the drops join to create a seamless image?
The print is supplied to be installed in an overlap and trim format. All panels are supplied with a 50mm bleed on the far left and right, top and bottom. For drops between edges, 25mm is supplied left and right for overlap and trim. The Muraspec Digital Team will set up your artwork with bleeds free of charge.
Do you supply appropriate adhesive for installation?
Yes. Our own Murabond adhesives can be supplied with your order.
Is the print removable?
Yes, if the print is applied using Muraspec’s Easy Strip and our hanging instructions are followed.
How long will the print take to produce?
From placement of order, it generally takes 10 -20 business days to complete and have the goods delivered to your site. Please advise if you have a more urgent deadline, it is possible to improve on this when necessary.
